How to Choose Alabaster Lighting for a Dining Room

Dining room lighting has to do more than look dramatic in a photo. It needs to sit at the right height, cover the table evenly, and make food, faces and natural stone feel warm rather than harsh.

Start with the Table

For a single chandelier, choose a fixture that is narrower than the table so the room keeps visual breathing space. For a long table, a linear alabaster chandelier or two smaller pendants can spread light more evenly.

Check Ceiling Height

In rooms with standard ceilings, pay close attention to drop length. Taller ceilings and open foyers can handle a larger body and longer suspension, while lower dining rooms usually need a cleaner profile.

Use Alabaster for Warmth

Real alabaster softens the bulb and shows natural veining when lit. Choose warmer bulbs for dinner settings and avoid over-bright output that washes out the stone.

Ask Before Ordering

If you are unsure about diameter, drop, canopy, bulb type or custom sizing, contact Tianguang Alabaster Lighting before purchase with your table dimensions and ceiling height.
